Welcome to Bouldering Problems

“Come on. Just a little higher,” as I keep telling myself. My hands pinch the holds. Feet keeping me stable. Adrenaline pumps through my veins as I push myself up to reach for the next hold. My fingers pinch the final rough, hard plastic hold. “Got it.” I use my last bit of energy to mantle onto the top of the boulder.

Ow… But the pain's worth it.

Hi! My name is Heather Supinie and I'm the creator of Bouldering Problems. Bouldering and climbing are my passions. Bouldering Problems is my way of sharing how I got into climbing and my journey to become a better climber. Not only am I sharing my experiences with you but also talk about

Climbing is a physically motivating and demanding activity. However, the mental aspect to it is equally important. Not only are you trying to figure out how you are going to get up but down too. To me, it’s a fun mental and physical puzzle waiting to be solved.

Now, for the record, I'm not an expert climber. Every time I go climbing, I learn something new. Whether it’s better beta for a problem or how to improve a leg technique. My goal is become an expert climber. Until then, I’m learning as much as I can.

With that being said, I hope you check out my progress. You might learn a thing or two about bouldering. Who knows? Maybe you’ll want to take a crack at climbing afterwards.
